How do I start using my SmartSign?
Congratulations on becoming a member of the Safe Entry System. Good news, your product comes activated and is all set to go.
Simply place your SmartSign somewhere that's easy for visitors to access. Each visitor can scan the SmartSign by opening their phone's camera and focusing on the full QR code. Once they get the "Clear to Enter" screen, the information has been stored and they are ready for service!
Make sure to check the client's "Clear to Enter" screen to confirm that they have inputed the correct information - especially the alphanumeric code that is just below the QR code.
If the system determines that the person is a risk, they will be directed to leave the salon and will get CDC guidance.
Where is the best place to put my SmartSign?
The sign should be placed in a spot that is easily accessible to the user and also allows for social distancing between the user and person at the front desk.
Who should use the Safe Entry System?
The Safe Entry System should be used by anyone entering the salon. This includes owners, employees, customers and anyone else who enters the premises.What do I do if someone does not have a smartphone?
The person at the front desk can ask the questions verbally and record the answers on their own smartphone, tablet or computer.
How do I know if someone is not "Clear To Enter"?
A screen that says “Do Not Enter” will appear if a person answers a question that indicates that they may be a COVID-19 risk. They will be directed to the CDC's COVID page to get updated guidanceWhat do I do if someone is not "Clear To Enter"?
You politely ask them to leave the premises and reschedule their appointment after following all CDC guidelines.
